Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to DictationAI, provided by Tran Trung Hieu (leaf2301) (“we,” “us,” or “our”). For App Store downloads, these terms supplement Apple’s applicable Licensed Application End User License Agreement. By downloading or using DictationAI, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

DictationAI provides vocabulary, listening, dictation, writing, Translation Packs, game, progress-tracking, and AI-assisted learning features. Features, quotas, availability, and supported languages may change over time.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must comply with applicable law and be legally able to agree to these terms. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass quotas or security controls, reverse engineer protected components except where law permits, distribute malware, use automated access without permission, or use the app to create or transmit unlawful or harmful content.

3. Your content

You retain responsibility for vocabulary, prompts, text, and other content you provide. You grant us a limited permission to process that content solely to operate, secure, synchronize, and improve the requested service. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit your content.

4. AI-generated content

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or similar to content generated for others. It is provided for educational assistance, not as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing output before using or sharing it. Do not rely on DictationAI for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions.

5. Free features, advertising, and quotas

Free use may include advertising and daily or feature-specific limits. Watching rewarded ads may unlock certain benefits where offered. We may adjust reasonable limits, ad availability, and feature access to maintain and improve the service.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

Paid features, if offered, are purchased through Apple’s App Store. Prices and billing periods are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to Apple’s applicable rules. Apple charges your Apple ID account, manages cancellation and refunds, and provides purchase restoration. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription.

7. Third-party services

DictationAI relies on services supplied by Apple and Google, including Firebase, Google Cloud AI, and Google Mobile Ads. Their availability and processing are governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual property

DictationAI’s software, branding, interface, original graphics, and original materials are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app. Third-party names, content, software, dictionaries, and services remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using DictationAI at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, address abuse, or enforce these terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain effective.

10. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DictationAI is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free content, learning outcomes, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from reliance on generated or educational content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid for DictationAI during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update the service or these terms. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.

13. Governing terms

These terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections available in your country or region. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
